Our Story

In March 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic put a stop to our planned steakhouse in Burlington VT, we weren’t sure what to do next. Like many others, all our hard work and plans had disappeared in a matter of days. and like many others we had a lot of time on our hands to think about what was important to us and how could we make those things part of our plans for a restaurant. We knew we needed to do it in our hometown with our family and friends, we knew we needed to take advantage of the high quality farm and food products we have access to locally in VT and we knew we needed to serve food that was near, dear and nostalgic.
